Ariaentje was born in 1696 and her baptism took place on October 18th, 1696 in Ref Prot Dutch C, New York, Kings, Ny. Ariaentje's father was Pieter Willemse ROOME and her mother was Hester VAN GELDER. Her paternal grandparents were Willem Jansen (Janszen) ROOME and Jannetje JANS; her maternal grandparents were Johannes VAN GELDER and Tanneken MONTENAC. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Willem, Johannes, Jacob, Pieter Pieterse, Jannetie, Janneken, Jannetken, Maria, Mariah, Hester and Anna. She was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. She died before October 7th, 1730.General Notes
