  Their first child, Adam Schindler, was baptized on November 9, 1783.Christina had received communion there on October 1, 1780 and December24, 1780.  On  February 13, 1791, Adam and Christina Schindler baptized adaughter at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Strasburg, in ShenandoahCounty, Virginia, which was only 59 miles from Frederick, Maryland.  Onereason for visiting that church was that Susanna (Quierin) Tice andfamily belonged there.  The records of the Zion Evangelical LutheranChurch of Frederick show that on October 1, 1791 Christina receivedcommunion there.  Adam Schindler witnessed the christening of Hanna, achild born to an African-American couple, Bell and Anna, in Frederick,Maryland, on September 17, 1805.  Adam served as one of the members ofthe church council in June 1808.  Adam and Christina last were found inthe church records of Frederick on August 12, 1810, sponsoring thechristening of Maria Caroline, daughter of Christian and ChristineEverding, who was their niece.  Christina Schindler alone sponsored MariaChristine Redner's christening on November 3, 1814 in Frederick County.The Schindler family moved to Augusta County, Virginia between 1814 and1817.  Source: The Family of John Nicholas Query - A Great-Great-GreatGrandfather of President Dwight David Eisenhower, By Patrick R.
