Benjamin Provoost 
Benjamin was born on June 17th, 1646 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut and his baptism took place on June 17th, 1646 in New York, New York, New York. Benjamin's father was David William PROVOST and his mother was Margareta (Gillis) TEN WAERT. His paternal grandfather was Johannes PROVOST and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents are Gillis TEN WAERT and Barbara Schut. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Johannes, William, David, Elias, Samuel, David Jonathon, Gillis, Grietje Margaritje, Barbara and Barbara. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 78 on May 8th, 1725. He was buried in May 1725.General Notes
