Etheldred was born on June 1st, 1716 in North Molton, Devon, England. He died at the age of 78 on May 9th, 1795 in Edgecombe Co., North Carolina.General Notes

Etheldred and Sarah Jane were married in a religious ceremony on June 1st, 1737 in Isle of Wight, Virginia. They had five sons and five daughters, named Eaton, Etheldred, Exum, Clemmon, Figers, Sallie, Elizabeth, Martha, Charlotte and Nancy.
