Mary Dorothy was born on January 22nd, 1859. Mary Dorothy's father was Thomas PHILLIPS and her mother was Henrietta HENDERSON. Her paternal grandparents were David PHILLIPS and Mary (Polly) WATERS. She had six brothers and six sisters, named Hardin Alonzo, William Preston, David Brandon, Thomas Wilson, John Madison, Eugene, Betty Izora, Sarah Isabel, Laura Jane, Lou Minnie, Ada and Mattie. She is the fifth oldest of the thirteen children.-
