George NIXON 
George was born in 1821 in Canton Township, Washington, Pennsylvania. George's father was George NIXON and his mother was Hannah WILSON. His paternal grandfather was George Sr NIXON and his paternal grandmother is Sarah SEEDS; his maternal grandparents were William WILSON and Eleanor SCOTHORN. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William Wilson, James, Elenora, Sarah, Mary Ann and Nancy. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 42 on July 14th, 1863 in Gettysburg, Adams, Pennsylvania. He was buried in Gettysburg, Adams, Pennsylvania.General Notes
