Jacob Metzger

Jacob was born on April 16th, 1798 in Bedford Co., PA. Jacob's father was John Metzger and his mother was Christina\Christianna HOOVER. His maternal grandfather was Martin HOOVER. He had six brothers and six sisters, named John, Andrew, Daniel, David, Isaac, George Hoover, Susanna, Catharine, Christianna, Elizabeth, Nancy Anna and Fannie. He was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 73 on April 17th, 1871.
