Robert Nelson was born on June 10th, 1853 in Illinois. Robert Nelson's father was Joel B Meador and his mother was Mary Melinda Holt. His paternal grandparents were Jeptha Moore MEADOR and Sarah HIRES. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Francis Washington, William A., Jeptha Iredill, Harmon H., Hardy Matthew, Mary Anna, Sarah J., Matilda E., Isabella, Lucinda Hannah and Rachel. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 78 on September 18th, 1931 in Pineville,McDonald County,Missouri.-
