Mary Anna Meador 
Mary Anna was born on February 15th, 1833 in Illinois. Mary Anna's father was Joel B Meador and her mother was Mary Melinda Holt. Her paternal grandparents were Jeptha Moore MEADOR and Sarah HIRES. She had six brothers and five sisters, named Francis Washington, William A., Jeptha Iredill, Harmon H., Hardy Matthew, Robert Nelson, Sarah J., Matilda E., Isabella, Lucinda Hannah and Rachel. She was the oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 42 on August 25th, 1875 in Illinois.General Notes
Mary Anna Meador was born in Marion County, Illinois and was marriedthere. Her father, Joel B. Meador came to McDonald County, MO in 1859,and she and her husband may have accompanied him, as daughter Malinda wasborn there. Sometime in the 1870s they returned to Marion County, IL forthey both died there, and are buried in the Meador Cemetery two mileseast of Vernon.
