Alda Bertha MURFIN 
Alda Bertha was born on August 8th, 1893 in <Oliver Township, Pa>. Alda Bertha's father was Samuel Murfin and her mother was Sara Jane COPENHAVER. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel J. MURFIN and Catharine Mcnear HUMPHREY; her maternal grandparents were JOHN COPENHAVER and SUSAN BUCKLEY. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John Howard, James Mcnaer, William Calvin, Francis Vernon, Ralph Pomeroy, Isabelle, Eva Blanche, Anna Margaret, Dora Ellen, Clara Etta and Catherine Rebecca. She was the second youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 82 on June 10th, 1976.General Notes
