James MITCHELL 
James was born on October 19th, 1786 in , Knox Co., Tennessee. James' father was Morris MITCHELL and his mother was Elizabeth HOOSONG. His maternal grandfather was Jacob HOOSANG and his maternal grandmother is Elizabeth UNKNOWN. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named John, Jacob, Abraham, Jessie, Stephen, Elijah, Wesley, Rebecca, Mary, Rhoda, Betsey and Louise. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 89 on June 28th, 1876 in , Knox Co., Tennessee.General Notes
