Susannah was born on November 30th, 1704 in Wallingford, New Haven, Ct. Susannah's father was Daniel MESSENGER and her mother was Lydia ROYCE. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel MESSENGER and Susannah MILLS; her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel ROYCE and Hannah MORGAN. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Nehmeiah, Nehemiah, Andrew, Lydia, Mary and Rachel. She is the oldest of the eight children.General Notes
