Anna MERRELL

Anna was born in 1767 in , Rowan, Nc. Anna's father was Benjamin MERRILL JR and her mother was Jemima SMITH. Her paternal grandparents were William MERRILL JR and Penelope (Jewell) (Merrill)(Heria) STOUT; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Jr. SMITH and Ann (Anna) MERSHON. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Samuel, John, William, Andrew, Charles, Elijah, Jonathan, Nancy, Anna, Penelope, Nancy, Ellen, Ellien and Penelope. She is the fifth youngest of the fifteen children.
