Major James MC CURDY 
Major James was born on December 4th, 1806 in , Frnkln, Pa. Major James' father was James MC CURDY and his mother was Mary BROWN. His paternal grandparents are James MC CURDY and Mrs Ann MCCURDY; his maternal grandparents were Allen BROWN and Margaret OLIVER. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Isaiah, John, Joseph Brown, Stephen Oliver, Rhoda, Anna, Margaret and Jane. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 87 on December 26th, 1893.General Notes
