Hannah was born about 1717 in Of, Orange, North Carolina. Hannah's father was Robert MACKAY and her mother was Ann BROWNE. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh MACKAY and Jane DUNBAR; her maternal grandparents were James BROWNE and Honour CLAYTON. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert, James, Zachariah, Moses, Mary, Hannah, Leah, Elizabeth and Margaret. She died in 1744 in Winchester, Frederick, Virginia.General Notes
