Margaret was born in Nottingham Twp, Chester, Pa. Margaret's father was Robert MACKAY and her mother was Ann BROWNE. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh MACKAY and Jane DUNBAR; her maternal grandparents were James BROWNE and Honour CLAYTON. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Robert, James, Zachariah, Moses, Mary, Hannah, Leah, Hannah and Elizabeth. She died in Shenandoah, Va.
