Reuben was born in 1769 in (no Tn. Till 1783), Pitt, Nc.  Reuben's father is Reuben MANNING and his mother is Diana MCCOY. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Richard, John, William, Diana, Nancy, Mary and Frances.  He is the oldest of the eight children.
