John Lucas 
John was born in 1831 in Belmont Co. OH. John's father was Amos Lucas and his mother was Catherine Ann Glover. His maternal grandparents were Amos Glover and Ann Katherine Holmes Smith. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Lloyd, Samuel, Francis Marion, William, Lucinda, Catherine Ann and Amanda. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 79 in 1910 in Lee Co. IA.-
