William Lawrence 
William was born on December 30th, 1764 in , Fauquier, Virginia. William's father was John Bayley Lawrence and his mother was Nancy Ann Needham. His paternal grandfather was William Edward Lawrence and his paternal grandmother is Jane Tullos; his maternal grandparents were John Needham and Elizabeth Brothers. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Edward, John, Richard, Peter, Needham, Jonathan, Jesse, Sarah, Martha Patty and Nancy Ann. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 57 on July 12th, 1822 in , Clark, Indiana. He was buried in New Washington, , , Hutching's Farm.General Notes
