Samuel McKee Laird 
Samuel McKee was born on February 23rd, 1840.1 Samuel McKee's father was John C. Laird and his mother was Mary Susan McKee. His maternal grandparents were John Telford McKee and Nancy Hannah. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John Harvey, Charles E., Henry Ruffner, Alexander F., James M., William R., Mary E. and Agnes Jane. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 24 on May 28th, 1864 in Battle in Hawe's Shop.1 -
