James M. Laird

James M. was born on October 18th, 1852.¹ James M.'s father was John C. Laird and his mother was Mary Susan McKee. His maternal grandparents were John Telford McKee and Nancy Hannah. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John Harvey, Charles E., Samuel McKee, Henry Ruffner, Alexander F., William R., Mary E. and Agnes Jane. He is the second youngest of the nine children.
