John LYMAN 
John was born on December 7th, 1740 in Lebanon, New London, Connecticut. John's father was John LYMAN and his mother was Mary STRONG. His paternal grandparents were Richard LYMAN and Mary WOODWARD; his maternal grandparents were Phinehas STRONG and Mary PARKER. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Abel, Elias, Richard, Josiah, Elijah, Josiah, Hannah and Mary. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 90 in 1830.General Notes
