Abel LYMAN 
Abel was born on January 15th, 1752 in Lebanon, New London, Connecticut. Abel's father was John LYMAN and his mother was Mary STRONG. His paternal grandparents were Richard LYMAN and Mary WOODWARD; his maternal grandparents were Phinehas STRONG and Mary PARKER. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Elias, Richard, Josiah, Elijah, Josiah, Hannah and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 71 on January 17th, 1823 in , New London, Connecticut. He was buried in January 1823.General Notes
