Elizabeth was born on April 9th, 1778 in , Culpeper Co., Virginia. Elizabeth's father was John Christopher LOTSPEICH and her mother was Rebecca Barbara HARTLEY. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named Ralph, John, William, Christopher, Richard, Samuel, Garcia, James, Catherine, Mary, Sarah, Susannah, Barbara and Rebecca. She was the oldest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 59 on March 31st, 1838 in Hoover Gap, Rutherford, Tennessee.
