Theodora was born about 1866 in Kanawha Co., WV.1 Theodora's father was Joseph Scott Jenkins and her mother was Sarah A. Humphrey. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Robert Jenkins and Martha Booker Fore. She had a brother and a sister, named Leonidas L and Laura V.. She was the second oldest of the three children.
