Samuel Hallett 
Samuel was born in 1722 in Newtown, Newtown, Suffolk, New York, USA.1 Samuel's father was Joseph Hallett and his mother was Lydia Blackwell. His paternal grandparents were William Hallett and Sarah Woolsey. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Joseph, Moses, Jacob, Richard, Thomas, Robert, William, Nathaniel and Mary. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 74 on February 13th, 1796 in St Johns, NB, Canada.1 General Notes
