Charity was born in Newtown, Newtown, Suffolk, New York, USA.1 Charity's father was William Hallett and her mother was Sarah Woolsey. Her paternal grandparents were William Hallett and Elizabeth Fones; her maternal grandparents were George Woolsey and Rebecca Cornell. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William, George, Richard, Moses, Joseph, Rebecca, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah. She died on January 3rd, 1758.2 -
