Christopher HOOVER 
Christopher was born in 1815 in Rutherford Or, Coffee County, Tennessee. Christopher's father was Jacob HOOVER and his mother was Jemima BROYLES. His paternal grandparents were Matthias HOOVER and Mary "Maria" Gefeller; his maternal grandparents were Matthias BROYLES and Eva KLUG. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Henery, Martin, Matthias J., Simeon, Ephriam Buchanan, Julius, Anna, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 35 in 1850 in Dead On The, Oregon Trail, Nebraska. He was buried in Nebraska.General Notes
