Samuel was born on January 27th, 1673 in Bellmisk Crannel, Armagh, Ireland, Ireland. Samuel's father was Valentine HOLLINGSWORTH and his mother was Ann Hollingsworth REE (REA). His paternal grandparents are Henry HOLLINGSWORTH and Catherine CORNISH; his maternal grandparents are Nicolas (Nicholas) REE and Ann Of TANDERAGEE. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Mary, Henry, Thomas, Enoch, Valentine Jr., John, Joseph, Enoch, Mary, Catherine and Ann. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 75 on October 1st, 1748 in Birmingham Twp, Chester Co, Pa. He was buried in Old Kennett Mm, Chester, Pennsylvania.General Notes
