Henry was born on September 7th, 1658 in Ballymacrannell, Seagoe, Armagh, Ireland. Henry's father was Valentine HOLLINGSWORTH and his mother was Ann Hollingsworth REE (REA). His paternal grandparents are Henry HOLLINGSWORTH and Catherine CORNISH; his maternal grandparents are Nicolas (Nicholas) REE and Ann Of TANDERAGEE. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Mary, Thomas, Samuel, Enoch, Valentine Jr., John, Joseph, Enoch, Mary, Catherine and Ann. He was the third oldest of the twelve children.
