WILLIAM A was born in 1838. WILLIAM A's father was JOHN HILLIARD and his mother is Polley Newmam. His paternal grandparents were THOMAS HILLIARD and SARAH SALLY BOWDOIN. He had four brothers and a sister, named THOMAS DANDRIGE, JOHN, ARMISTEAD BARTLETTE, ISAAC and MATILDA CAROLINE. He died at the age of 24 on January 30th, 1862 in Norfolk,VA.General Notes
