General Notes

Comments:  George and his siblings were among the last to be bornandraised on Farrar's Island.  The Farrar's, along with many otherfamilieswho played prominent roles in the 1600's, were being supplantedby morepolitically powerful and wealthy families, like the Randolphfamily.From 1627-28, George's older brothers (William IV, Thomas, andJohn) soldtheir shares of the Farrar's Island estate to the Randolph's.Georgelived on his share of the estate until about 1760, when he sold itandmoved to a part of Lunenburg Co which was later added to MecklenburgCo,VA.  His wife, Judith Jefferson, was the aunt of PresidentThomasJefferson.
