Rachel Elvira was born on January 25th, 1858 in Kaysville, Davis, Utah. Rachel Elvira's father was Martin Henry HENDERSON and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth WHEELER. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel HENDERSON and Elizabeth HARRIS; her maternal grandparents were Henry Ammon WHEELER and Elvira TEEPLES. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Martin, Henry Hyrum, Samuel Oscar, John Alfonzo, Alvin Vernon, Radick, Redon, Sarah Elizabeth, Evaline Emma, Mary Cordelia and Frances Frena Henderson. She was the third oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 49 on December 10th, 1907 in Clifton, Oneida (now Franklin), Idaho.
