Countess of Surrey was born about 1063 in Normandy, France.1   Countess of Surrey's father was I King of England William and her mother was Countess of Flanders Matilda. She had four brothers and six sisters, named II Duke of Normandy, Prince of England, II King of England, I King of England, Princess of England, Alice, Princess of England, Princess of England, Adele and Princess of England.  She was the third youngest of the eleven children.  She died on March 27th, 1085 in Castle Acre, Norfolk, England.  She was buried in Priory, Lewes, Sussex, England.1 2

‌Countess of Surrey and William De were married in a religious ceremony in 1077 in Normandy.2   They had a daughter named Edith.
