Joseph H. GATTON 
Joseph H. was born in 1788 in , Iredell, Nc. Joseph H.'s father was Azariah GATTON and his mother was Elizabeth Humphries. His paternal grandparents were Thomas G GATTON and Elizabeth WATERS. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Benjamin, James, Thomas, Nancy, Annjelene, Sally Ann, Betsy, Polly, Lurary and Patsey. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 68 on August 20th, 1856 in , Wilson, Tn.General Notes
