John GAITHER 
John was born on April 24th, 1713 in South River Par, Anne Arundel, Maryland. John's father was Benjamine GAITHER and his mother was Sarah Maria BURGESS. His paternal grandparents were John GAITHER and Ruth BEARD. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Benjamine, Edward, Samuel, Joseph, Henry, William, Elizabeth, Ruth, Sarah, Ann, Mary and Cassandra. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 71 in 1784 in Queencarolie Par, Md.General Notes
