James Ellison Foster 
James Ellison was born on December 5th, 1820 in , Monroe, Va. James Ellison's father was John Alexander Foster and his mother was Mary Skaggs. His paternal grandparents were Bedford Addison Foster and Elizabeth Lisay Cornwell. He had two brothers named Esley Milton and Addison Bedford. He is the oldest of the three children.-
