Marmaduke was born in 1766 and his baptism took place on April 18th, 1766 in Halifax, Yrkshr, England. Marmaduke's father was Marmaduke (Duke) FIELDING and his mother is Elisabeth DISON. His paternal grandfather is John FIELDEN and his paternal grandmother was Mary RILEY OR RYLY; his maternal grandparents are James DYSON and Mrs-James DYSON. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James, John, Eli, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah and Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
