William De was born about 1240 in Of, Groby, Leicestershire, England.  William De's father was William FERRERS and his mother was Margaret De QUINCY.  His paternal grandparents were William De FERRERS and Agnes De MESCHINES; his maternal grandparents were Roger De QUINCY and Helen (Elena) Of GALLOWAY. He had a brother and three sisters, named Robert, Agnes De, Elizabeth and Joan De.  He was the second oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and seven half-sisters, named John De, Agnes De, Isabella De, Maud (Matilda) De, Sibyl De, Joan De, Agatha De and Eleanor De.  He died on December 20th, 1287.

‌William De and Anne Le were married in a religious ceremony about 1262 in Of, Wooten Basset, Wiltshire, England.  They had a son and a daughter, named William De and Anne De.
