Kate Dilling 
Kate was born on September 29th, 1863 in Blair Co., PA. Kate's father was Henry Hoover Dilling and her mother was Sarah Nicodemus. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Puderbaugh Dilling and Elizabeth Hoover. She had five brothers and five sisters, named George Nicodemus, Andrew D., John Calvin, Charles H., Joseph J., Harriet A., Mary Jane, Emma, Maggie and Ella. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 87 on October 23rd, 1950. She was buried in Mt. Hope Cem., Hiawatha, Brown Co., KS.-
