Henry Dilling 
Henry was born on May 27th, 1831 in Blair Co., PA.1 Henry's father was Jacob Dilling and his mother was Susanna\Susannah Hoover. His maternal grandparents were Frederick Hoover and Catharine BRUMBAUGH. He had seven brothers and four sisters, and also two siblings of unknown gender, named George, Jacob, David, Frederick, William, John, Daniel, Elizabeth, Catherine, Christina, Anna, UNKNOWN and UNKNOWN. He was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 68 on January 24th, 1900. He was buried in Brethren Cem., near Hagerstown, Wayne Co., IN.1 2 -

Henry and Anna were married in a religious ceremony on October 25th, 1852.3 They had three sons and two daughters, named Levi S., Roscoe, Daniel, Margaret and Ida Ellen.
