Joseph DOWDLE

Joseph was born in 1802 in Pendleton District, North Carolina (anderson), Sc. Joseph's father was James DOWDLE and his mother was Ann PICKENS. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert, James Gibson, Jane Ann, Elizabeth, Eleanor (Nellie), Nellie and Ann. He is the second youngest of the eight children.
