James Gibson DOWDLE

James Gibson was born on October 18th, 1807 in , Livstn., Ky. James Gibson's father was James DOWDLE and his mother was Ann PICKENS. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Joseph, Jane Ann, Elizabeth, Eleanor (Nellie), Nellie and Ann. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 56 on February 16th, 1864 in , Lamar, Alabama. He was buried in New Hope Cem., Methodist Church, Lamar, Al.
