John DONELSON 
John was born on April 7th, 1755 in Somerset Co., Maryland. John's father was John DONELSON and his mother was Rachel STOCKLEY. His paternal grandparents were John DONELSON and Catherine DAVIS; his maternal grandparents were Alexander STOCKLEY and Ann STOCKLEY. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Alexander, Stockly, William, Samuel, Severn, Leven, Catherine, Mary, Unknown, Unknown, Unknown, Jane and Rachel. He was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 75 on April 21st, 1830 in Somerset Co., Maryland. He was buried in Hermitage, Presbyterian Chu, Davidson, Tn.General Notes
