John DONELSON 
John was born on April 7th, 1725 in Snow Hill, Somerset, Md and his baptism took place in Of Cumberland, Settlement, Stone River, Tn. John's father was John DONELSON and his mother was Catherine DAVIS. His paternal grandfather is Patrick DONELSON. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Andrew, William, Andrew, Mary and UNKNOWN. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 60 in 1785 in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee. He was buried in Hermitage, Presbyterian Chu, Davidson, Tn.General Notes
