Samuel DAY

Samuel was born on February 25th, 1670 in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts and his baptism took place on February 25th, 1670 in Gloucester, Essex, Ma.  Samuel's father was Anthony DAY and his mother was Susan Or Susanna MATCHET.  His maternal grandparents are Mr. MATCHETT and (Miss) UNKNOWN. He had nine brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Timothy, Anthony Or Timothy, John, Ezekiel, Ezekiel, Timothy, Nathaniel, John Joseph and Elizabeth.  He was the second youngest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 79 on November 11th, 1749 in Attleboro, Bristol, Mass.  He was buried on November 14th, 1749 in Gloucester, Essex, Ma.
