Thomas was born about 1725 in PGC,MD.1 Thomas' father was John Sessell Cecil and his mother was Elizabeth Sollers. His paternal grandparents were William Cecil and Mary Unknown. He had seven brothers named Zephiniah, Samuel W., Sabrett Sapert Sollars, John Sollars, William, James Sollars and Samuel W.. He had a half-sister named Elizabeth. He died about 1786 in PGC,MD.2 General Notes
