Zephiniah was born in 1719 in Prince George's Co,MD. Zephiniah's father was John Sessell Cecil and his mother was Elizabeth Sollers. His paternal grandparents were William Cecil and Mary Unknown. He had seven brothers named Samuel W., Sabrett Sapert Sollars, Thomas, John Sollars, William, James Sollars and Samuel W.. He had a half-sister named Elizabeth. He died after 1769.General Notes
