Katherine was born in 1678. Katherine's father was Richard Cheney and her mother is Eleanor Pindle Cheney. Her paternal grandfather was Richard Cheney and her paternal grandmother is Ann (Ellinor) Cheney. She has four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Charles, John, Richard, Sarah and Charity. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Richard, Elizabeth (Cheney), Anne and Mary.-
