Mary Chapin

Mary was born on March 1st, 1774 in UXBRIDGE,WORCESTER CO.,MASSACHUSETTS and her baptism took place on September 11th, 1774 in MENDON,WORCESTER CO.,MASSACHUSETTS. Mary's father was Gershom Chapin and her mother was Deborah Holbrook. Her maternal grandfather is William Holbrook and her maternal grandmother was Hopestill Read. She has three brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Joseph, Phineas, Betty and Lois. She is the youngest of the six children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Joseph, Martha, Mary and Deborah.
